Exploring Historic Grimsby Beach

A couple of weeks ago I took the kids on another little adventure. I stumbled on this blog post from In Search of Sarah about these fabulous colourful houses in a town not too far from where I live.  I packed up the kids and recruited my parents to come with us. We've lived in this area for decades and never knew this little historical area existed. We're literally almost 8 months into this pandemic and I don't know about you, but I'm totally over it. And I have the attitude to match the feeling that's for sure.

So where do we go from here?

Well, when I'm feeling "over it" I immerse myself in positivity...even if I don't feel like being positive. There is something to be said about reading inspirational quotes to help pull us out of a rut or a bad mood. 

How do I do it?

I scour Pinterest and Instagram for positive quotes until I land on a few that jolt me back to reality and remind me that if I think negative thoughts I'll never pull myself out of my little rut.
