CurrentlyJen's Friday Favourites - February 25, 2023

I'm a day late for Friday Favourites. Which I feel like is basically my whole life these days...perpetually late for the important stuff (thank you anxiety), and early for the shit that doesn't matter.  Well, let's get right into it. My week was BUSY AF but I did manage to squeeze in a few moments that brought me joy!  Here's my take on Friday Faves...things that made me happy this week: It was Family Day here on Monday in Ontario (stat holiday). We spent the weekend filled with family gatherings, friend visits, dinners, movies, etc. So by Monday, we were all tapped out. The day was a much-needed pyjama and chill day for all of us. Those days are my favourite. Saturday night fun with the hubby I had to go to the office on Tuesday for my in-person work day. It was nice to see everyone but I was tired by the end. I don't think I'll ever get used to so much socializing again...how did I do it five days a week pre-pandemic?? I'll never know! In-office obligatory

3 Inspirational Quotes to Help You Stay Positive Today

We're literally almost 8 months into this pandemic and I don't know about you, but I'm totally over it. And I have the attitude to match the feeling that's for sure. So where do we go from here? Well, when I'm feeling "over it" I immerse myself in positivity...even if I don't feel like being positive. There is something to be said about reading inspirational quotes to help pull us out of a rut or a bad mood.  How do I do it? I scour Pinterest and Instagram for positive quotes until I land on a few that jolt me back to reality and remind me that if I think negative thoughts I'll never pull myself out of my little rut. I was feeling like that today.  Here are 3 inspirational quotes I found this morning to help us all stay positive (and sane) the rest of the week! Only 3 more sleeps 'til the weekends gals!  Feel free to save these, pin them, or write them down to look back on when you feel you need a little extra motivation to look on the bright s
