I'm a day late for Friday Favourites. Which I feel like is basically my whole life these days...perpetually late for the important stuff (thank you anxiety), and early for the shit that doesn't matter. Well, let's get right into it. My week was BUSY AF but I did manage to squeeze in a few moments that brought me joy! Here's my take on Friday Faves...things that made me happy this week: It was Family Day here on Monday in Ontario (stat holiday). We spent the weekend filled with family gatherings, friend visits, dinners, movies, etc. So by Monday, we were all tapped out. The day was a much-needed pyjama and chill day for all of us. Those days are my favourite. Saturday night fun with the hubby I had to go to the office on Tuesday for my in-person work day. It was nice to see everyone but I was tired by the end. I don't think I'll ever get used to so much socializing again...how did I do it five days a week pre-pandemic?? I'll never know! In-office obligatory
Christmas is literally just around the corner, and with the current COVID-19 restrictions and lockdown situations happening over here in Ontario, it's starting to be increasingly hard to finish up the Christmas shopping list. In my search for last minute stocking stuffer and gift ideas, I stumbled on these Canadian made Etsy Shops offering next day shipping (score!).
Check out these three amazing last minute Canadian Etsy finds:
I'm noticing a bit of a theme with my Christmas gift ideas...can you tell I'm a little anxious about COVID right now?? Well...these pretty little masks by Etsy shop Colour Pop TO are so fricken cute...I guess if we have to be in lock down we may as well be sporting a face mask in style right? Check them out here.
Mala necklace by Etsy shop owner Ava Crystal. Not only is it beautiful and has calming/healing properties, but it dispatches in just one day, is Canadian owned (score!), and the shop is offering free shipping for orders in Canada and the US. Check it out here.
It wouldn't be a COVID-Christmas without a stocking full with hand sanitizer! I don't know if you share my frustration with hand sanitizer gels (they're goopy, horrible, leak out of the bottle, and I just really hate them), so I generally prefer a spray if I can find one. Love the look and convenience of this antibacterial hand sanitizer bundle by Jiro Soap in Vancouver, British Columbia. What's also pretty cool? You get to customize the order by picking the scent and colour of each bottle. Check it out here.
